Dear friend,

7 years ago I decided to take the plunge and find an au pair to help me with my children. Since then I have met and talked to many au pairs and my children have had several wonderful "big sisters"

My other friends have followed my example after seeing these positive experiences, but sometimes complained about how difficult it is to find the perfect au pair for their needs.

So with my husband's help I have pieced together this site, which aims to offer the necessary information for choosing and communicating with your au pairs or host families.

I believe hosting an au pair can be a great experience for both host families and au pairs - it's certainly been that way for me, though of course it's not always plain sailing !
